PSSA Teacher Meeting Notes

4/9/21 - 2:00-3:00 p.m.

● 8:30-10:30 testing window (library is extended time room)

● Eighth lunch: 11:50-12:20

● Unstructured time in the afternoon (follow-up meeting with the 8th grade team needed;
virtual DC trip possible?)

● Pick up calculators on Monday

● Bookbags, cell phones, and water bottles must be put in lockers (hallway) or collected by
the proctor ahead of time

● My role: Runner (assist w/ student bathroom breaks)

● Communication b/w office and runners through walkie talkies; communication b/w
proctors and runners through cones in hallway

● One student in the bathroom at a time (unless all tests collected from rooms for any
students there)

● Students have to be in alphabetical order in their seats (will make contact tracing more
difficult/extensive?)

● In the event of emergency, tests will be locked in the room; test administrator has to be
the last one out, first one in before students reenter and continue the test

● Virtual students will report to their homeroom for testing; once all tests have been
collected in the building, will report to the
