BK3: Greatest fear: Write a reflective blog.

As a student my greatest fear is failing the examination, failing in the final exam would
make you stay for another year in the same grade and that is the biggest shame for any student.
Your parents are going to hate you, your peers are going to talk poorly about you, your teachers
are going to view you negatively. The argument is that when you fail the final test, you are a real
dumb student, which places you in the same grade for another year. Both students can remember
your name as one who can't do it in the final exam.

And I think I’m not the only one who is afraid of being failed in examination. I assume
it's the fear of failure for a lot of students rather than the exam itself that triggers all the anxiety.
Working with anxiety will only add to the stress and the risk of not doing well on a test. In order
to prevent this, I believe the secret is planning. You should feel assured about taking it and doing
well if you have studied extensively. I assume that the environment and setting of the locations
where tests are taken contribute to the anxiety. You cannot help but feel the tension in the air in
an examination room and the almost deadly quietness in the room. It may be useful for students
to find a way to change the test taking environment by seeking different places or conditions.

I overcome my fear with the help of these steps. First, I build a proper time table like the
things I would like to discuss every day and stick to it. Before the examination began, I still did
careful preparation. I'm not leaving a last minute analysis. Second, I make notes on the subjects
and blueprint, since revising them is better for me. Third, I studying before lunch or if I have a
habit of waking up late at night, I have to study later in the middle of the day but I also have to
go to bed at the right time to get enough sleep. Fourth, I still answer questions from question
papers from the previous year, which really gives me an idea of the paper's trend. And it was sort
of a pre-exam rehearsal. And last, I never hesitate to ask teachers and friends for guidance if
there is anything I do not understand. To support me, they are still there.

It is really important to be optimistic during the exam preparation phase. The fact that a
positive disposition often allows one to succeed in life is already known. Good ideas hold
negativity away. Don't let you be demotivated by others. Believing in yourself. We need to say
an optimistic comment to us like I've done my training already. In the previous test, I got good
marks. I've already revised my course. This will raise your confidence, so do constructive self-
talk. These steps could help me a lot to conquer my fear.
