SAN ROQUE, San Jose- Hon. Joselito Dinglasan recalls the baranggay’s action plan in addressing the persons

under monitoring (PUMs) and persons under investigation (PUIs) during the first wave of COVID-19, last Monday.

“Nung kalakasan, madami tayong facility noon…Siguro nung kasagsagan, nasa 400-500 yong cater ng barangay.

Simultaneously umaabot tayo ng mga 80 na mga kina-quarantine natin at that time,” he said.

Dinglasan said that the barangay handled the PUIs and PUMs through proper monitoring. “Kaya talagang ang BHW

(Baranggay Health Workers) natin noon ay halos di na nagpapahinga yan, nung mga first 6 months’ ng COVID.

Talagang ang monitoring natin grabe,” Dinglasan added.

In March 2020, the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in Occidental Mindoro, PUIs and PUMs was

monitored by the BHW headed by Midwife Rosabelle Real Hayag and contact tracers Jeffrey S. Ebon and Charisse

Almogela.

“Halos ngayon wala naman ng nagpopositive,eh…Ang pinagkakaabalahan na lang natin ngayon (requirements) kasi

meron pang pumapasok na walang antigen test or swab test,” Dinglasan said.

On his statement, the barangay provides 14-day quarantine for people who arrived in the province without

submitting swab test or antigen test and 10-day home quarantine for those who have.
