The environmental condition in Indonesia

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

The honourable the judges and all the audience
First of all, lets us gratefull to the god for his blessing we can gather here on this day. I would
like to introduce myself, my name is steven Immanuel siahaan
Let me say thank you to the judges who has given me an opportunity to deliver my speech
about the environmental condition in Indonesia
Ladies and gentlemen as we know that environment in Indonesia has been very polluted till our
beloved country gets nickname as the second largest contributor to marine waste in the world,
not only in the marine but also in mainland like school environment and home environment. It
is caused by plastic which we find everywhere. Besides plastic, electronics which is not working
condition is also found in marine.
My example for the marine waste is kuta beach and lake toba. Last time,Kuta and lake toba
were looked so beautiful and fresh. Many visitor came and saw their beautiful. But now, they
have been polluted by waste. This waste made our marine biota threatened. Lately,many
fishermen have found many microplastic waste in fish bodies.
With this fact,we should begin to relize that maintaining the environment is very important as
did the people in papua. They keep maintaining raja ampat sea stay fresh and beautiful. How
we did it in our life? We can change plastic shopping becomes a shopping basket.with this, we
can use it repeatedly, we use the aluminium not plastic. Plastic can be recycled but many
people prefer to throw it carelessly.
. So, I feel that from now until forever we must think smarter to keep our marine biota and the
environment around us stay awake but not destroy it. The last we must change the nickname
becomes the cleanest country in the world and our country leading to progress or developed
countries
That’s all my speech about the environmental if there are words that is not pleasing, I
