The ants were exploited by a group of grasshoppers that demanded a large part of

their food ration each season.

flik is a very mischievous and creative ant, in one of his inventions he created a

gatherer to speed up the harvest, but flik stumbled, dropping all the food into the

lake.

Las hormigas eran explotadas por un grupo de saltamontes que les exigían gran
parte de la ración de su comida cada temporada.
flik es una hormiga muy traviesa y creativa, en uno de sus inventos creo un
recolector para agilizar la cosecha, pero flik tropezó dejando caer toda la comida al
lago.

When the grasshoppers came to collect the food and found nothing they enraged

and attacked the ants who still did not know what had happened when the whole

colony found out they got angry with flik.

Flik in his eagerness to remedy his mistake makes the decision to undertake a trip

in search of larger animals that could help them fight with the grasshoppers, flik

meets a group of insects that had just defeated some flies in a circus show and he

sees them as his heroes and convinces them to go with the insects believing that

flik was a talent scout.

Flik en su afán de remediar su error toma la decisión de emprender un viaje en
busca de animales más grandes que pudieran ayudarlos a pelear con los
saltamontes, flik se encuentra con un grupo de insectos que acababan de vencer a
unas moscas es una función de circo y el los ve como sus héroes y los convence
de ir con él, los insectos creyendo que flik era un cazatalentos.

Once on the island the insects realize that Flik is not a talent scout but that they

believed them to be warriors who would help them fight the grasshoppers and

decide to flee, but Flik stop them and convince them to stay, the ant children give

them a gift to insects.

Flik comes up with the great idea of building a great bird to knock down the

grasshoppers, the plan was a success but soon the grasshoppers realized that the

bird was not real and again they attack with the ants, but suddenly a bird appears it

really makes the grasshoppers never again take advantage of the ants and run

away.

This is how flik and his all the ants break free and start a new life.

Una vez en la isla los insectos se dan cuenta que flik no es ningún cazatalentos si
no que ellos los creían guerreros que los ayudarían a luchar contra los
saltamontes y deciden huir, pero flik los detienen y los convencen de quedarse, los
niños hormiga les dan un regalo a los insectos.
a flik se le ocurre la gran idea de construir un gran Pájaro para derribar a los
saltamontes, el plan era un éxito, pero pronto los saltamontes se dieron cuenta
que el Pájaro no era real y nuevamente arremeten con las hormigas, pero de
repente aparece un Pájaro de verdad que hace que los saltamontes nunca más
vuelvan aprovecharse de las hormigas y huyen.
Es así como flik y todas las hormigas se liberan y empiezan una nueva vida.
