Anaheim, Calif. - Families from the community and fellow members of the Manzanita Park
Family Resource Center (FRC) got together on July 10, 2021 to celebrate the one-year opening
of the FRC. The one-year anniversary event was hosted by The Raise Foundation and was
celebrated by guests painting their own small pictures that were then embedded all together to
create a beautiful mural on the wall of the building. This mural represents the importance of
strong family dynamics and that there is no one left behind.
Approximately $5,000 was raised for The Manzanita Park Family Resource Center from the
event. Prizes and awards were given to winners of the favorite painting, although no one left
empty handed, as there were prizes for everyone just for participating in the fun-filled events.
The Manzanita Park Family Resource Center event is unique because they offer FaCT’s six
core services for every family member that enters through the building. FaCT is administered by
the County of Orange Social Services Agency, in partnership with the FaCT Coalition of
Charitable Ventures. The FaCT Coalition facilitates the planning, implementation, evaluation,
and support of services and activities that maximize the benefits offered by the FRCs.
