1. In line with the upcoming roll out of the Career Guidance Week for Grades 11 and 12 , all Senior
High School Faculty are requested to attend .

2. The meeting will be at 10: 45 AM to 11: 45 AM only July 8, 2019 at SHS Building .

4. Participation to this activity is subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy provided under

DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-
Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.

SUBJECT : OBSERVANCE OF 2019 NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH

DATE : July 8, 2019

1. Pursuant to Executive Order No. 29 s 2017 , the month of July is declared as the National Disaster Resilience
Month (NDRM) which aims to increase awareness of every Filipino on Natural and Human-induced hazards
for better appreciation in terms of disaster preparedness. This year’s theme: “ Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro
Para sa Tunay na Pagbabago.”

2. Relative to thereto, schools are enjoined to support and make the observance of NDRM as meaningful as
possible by undertaking various activities relative to disaster resilience covering the four thematic areas.

3. The areas of completion for Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) are Essay- Writing
Contest and Song Writing and Singing Competition respectively for the contest guidelines refer to the attached
Division Memorandum No 416 s 2019.

4. In preparation of the competition the participants and coach are advised to conduct necessary preparation.
Mentoring and practice are scheduled two hours per day. Hence, they will be excused from their respective
classes in the duration of the activity. Attached are the list of participants and coaches.

5. Participation to this activity is subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy provided under DepEd Order No.
9 s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance
Therewith.

1. In support of the Department of Education’s goal to continue to promote and strengthen the culture of research in
basic education in relation to RA 10533 otherwise known as The Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 sec. 6
article e. states “The curriculum shall use pedagogical approaches that are constructivist, inquiry-based,
reflective, collaborative and integrative;”

2. Upon the request of the Office of the Research Coordinator through Mr. Celmar Kuizon as well as the Research
subject teacher for Practical Research 1 and Practical Resarch 2 for Senior High School. Permits the conduct of a
research seminar workshop.

3. The seminar/ workshop entitled “ SHS Millennials: A Research Oriented Generation” on November 8, 2019
(Friday) from 9: 00 AM to 4:00 PM to be participated by students under Practical Research 1 and 2 and other
interested party.

4. The seminar workshop aims to bring in top caliber research instructors to mentor the essentials of research and
discuss the trends and style of research and importantly, instill the culture of research to students.

SUBJECT : SAFETY AND PREPAREDNESS MEASURES IN SCHOOL DURING THE 2019

UNDAS

1. Capudlosan National High School enjoins the safety and preparedness measure in school during the 2019
Undas. This is to ensure that properties, learning materials, and vital school records are secured from any
possible occurrence of hazards like typhoons, floods and other calamities.

2. 2. Class advisers and non-advisers are advised to make sure their respective rooms and laboratories are safely
and securely locked both windows and doors, turn off and unplug electrical equipment and appliances,
textbooks, teaching manuals, important school records and textbooks are in elevated place to ensure protection
from rain or flood.

3. 3. All teachers are advised to keep updated on the weather condition for the proper exercise of precautionary
measures.

4. 4. School DRRM Coordinator should maintain open communication with the division officials for any needed
assistance.

5. Immediate reporting of any untoward incident should be observed to provide the necessary support.

6. This School Memorandum is in support to the Division Memorandum Number 693 s. 2019 in relation to
DepEd Order No. 83, s. 2011 entitled Disaster Preparedness Measures for Schools and DepEd Memorandum
No. 41 s. 2015 entitled Implementing Brigada Eskwela 2015, which seek to mainstream the implementation of
DRRM in the systems and processes of the Department at all levels.

SUBJECT : SYMPOSUIM ON ANTI-DINGUE ENTITLED “ 4’S PARAY DENGUE’Y

MAIWASAN”

1. Capudlosan National High School supports the Executive Order No. 24 s. 2019 known as Creation of
Municipal Dengue Prevention Brigade in consonant to the Brigada Eskwela : Oplan Dengue of the Department
of Education.

2. This symposium aims to educate learners , teachers and stakeholders of means to mitigate the killer dengue
mosquitoes in school.

3. All teachers Junior and Senior High Schools are advised to monitor students on the said activity. updated on
the weather condition for the proper exercise of precautionary measures.

4. School DRRM Coordinator leads the preparation of the symposium.

5. Immediate reporting of any untoward incident should be observed to provide the necessary support.
