COMPARE/ CONTRAST PAPER INSTRUCTIONS

In Module/Week 6, you will write a well-reasoned discussion of the comparisons and contrasts
between two types of juvenile delinquency prevention programs or methods. Include an
introduction that identifies and describes the programs/methods that you will be comparing and
contrasting.

Choose at least 3–5 major points for comparison and contrast and use headings to clearly
delineate your points. Do not compare and contrast the topics independent of each other. Instead
you should analyze them together by focusing on the major points/headings. For example, you
may choose to compare/contrast the preparation for the outside world, programmatic resources,
cohesion, program effectiveness, etc. You would use these points of comparison as headings in
your paper and discuss the comparison/contrast of the programs under each of these headings.

Your paper needs to include the integration of at least 3 - 5 sources to support your points and
demonstrate your thinking through the complexities of the issues in your comparison/contrast of
the major points. Be sure to use in-text citations formatted in APA. In addition, make sure to
integrate a biblical perspective in your paper and use scripture to support your points. Your paper
should have a substantive conclusion that summarizes your key points.

Your paper must also have a cover paper and a reference page in APA format (you do not need a
running head). The paper should be at least 5–7 pages, double-spaced, using 1 inch margins and

This assignment should be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week
