Introduction

Banks and Financial Institutions Regulation Department (BFIRD) provided one day seminar on
Statistics for NRB Licensed “D” class Financial Institutions. This program was held on June 8,
2018 at training hall of Nepal Rastra Bank, Banking Office, Thapathali, Kathmandu, Nepal.
There are 22 microfinance’s representatives participate on this program. The main focus of this
program was NRB Web-based Reporting System. Nepal Rastra Bank develops online system for
financial and other reporting purpose. All “D” class Financial Institutions used this system while
NRB provides user name and password. Now, the reporting system is offline based when
implement NRB Web-based Reporting System then the reporting system going to online based.

Welcome and Program Introduction

Mr. Bam Bahadur Mishra, Director of Banks and Financial Institutions Regulation Department
was give welcome speech and also provided introduction of NRB Web-based Reporting System.

Objectives

1. Tracking all location of Financial Institution’s branches and their ATMs.


2. Minimize duplication of branches in same location with the respect of population.
3. Minimizing default of Financial Institution’s investment.
4. Motivated on technical Reporting on daily, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly.
5. Reporting System updated from offline to online.
