an environmental fellowship from Columbia University.

~ Sen. Jim Cox holds weekly Thursday night meetings for the activist groups in
LC. It is reported that he supports the groups with money from his own pocket
or state funds.

~ The purpose of the study around Mossville was to help the residents not
covered in the original buyout.

Our operative is being nominated to the citizen action panels for local
industries. Which of the following will Condea be interested in? 1-10, Conoco,
Arco, Sulfur.

On 10/13/98 there will be a joint meeting on the federal mandate on risk

management.

~ We meet with Marlene Ross on Monday at 10:00 am.

~ Perry Sanders is an additional attorney that has shown up as supporting

Clean.

~ Clean will seek to publicize the NOAA report on the Calcaseu estuary in an
attempt to blow the lid off of public apathy on contamination in the area. They
are hoping to draw in additional support from other groups by the report
findings that the Gulf has been affected as well.

~ Clean will host a Sept. 1 dinner with an unknown speaker at the Chateau
Charles.

~ Clean will attempt to mobilize the local churches, community groups, and
health groups.

~ GP will mobilize on a national level civil rights groups, black church groups,
health groups, legal groups, children's organizations.
