Eldon Baber

Executive Director

Eldon Baber is currently the Executive Director at the Raise Foundation which is Orange County’s
official child abuse prevention organization. The Raise Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is
dedicated to stopping abuse at the start by promoting education, strong family dynamics and
community collaboration. Baber has been Executive Director of The Raise Foundation since July
2013.

Baber has been with The Raise Foundation for over seven years and has helped the organization
grow and has expanded their services to reach a wider range of individuals. Baber earned his
Masters Degree of Science from Long Beach State University and has brought his knowledge and
expertise to the foundation to help them grow and help the community end child abuse one family at
a time. Baber works alongside the more than 30 staff and board members of The Raise Foundation
and cares about putting an end to child abuse and making people aware of it.

What inspires Baber the most about her work?

Eldon Baber encourages individuals to step out of their comfort zone:

Focus on the positive. In business, and especially in nonprofits, working to combat an

insurmountable issue may be, at times, discouraging. Rather than focus on the size of the cause,
focus on who you can help. Each individual matters. Be solution oriented and focus on what can be
done and who can be served.
