 Coordinate monthly meetings and routine communications with newly created 12-person Patient Family Advisory Council
(PFAC).
 Prepare monthly presentations on issues of interest to PFAC members, such as analysis of patient satisfaction survey methods
and demographics; workflow observations; monthly assessment of trends in patient survey feedback and monthly complaints
and grievances for areas of opportunity for process improvement. Findings shared with hospital executive leadership.
 Develop standard operating procedure manual for PFAC and evaluation plan to measure impact of program on patient
satisfaction and quality of care provided.

Community Service
 Analyzed 12-month period of patient satisfaction surveys across race, gender, age and ethnicity to identify 50 candidates to
recruit to form new Patient Family Advisory Council for 115-bed community hospital.
 Researched and presented best practices on patient family advisory councils, interviewing 6 different health systems from
across the country to develop a comparative study of best practices in by-laws, structure and operational oversight.
 Developed and prepared onboarding materials and oversaw recruitment and onboarding process for final 12 candidates.
 Partnered with Patient Experience leader to create virtual orientation program for new PFAC members.
 Documented each process to form basis of first draft of PFAC manual and by-laws.
