1 It was a Friday afternoon, Pedro, Juana, and I ran toward our favorite food
truck. Pedro bought a cheesecake, while Juana was delightfully sipping her favorite
milktea. I knew my friends like sweet treats a lot. We like to share food with each other.
2 After buying our snack, Pedro noticed the giggles and cheering from the football
field, “Let’s watch them play! Dada, my godfather is the team coach!”, he remarked,
enthusiastically. So, we walked down the pathway to the bleachers and watched as I
began to eat my spring rolls.
3 Juana glanced at her smartwatch, “Oh, It’s almost five o’clock, don’t you think it
would be great to check the bookstore in 30 minutes?”, she asked. I tapped Pedro who
