Perfect tenses

A. Present Perfect tense ( thì HTHT)

1) Cách dùng
 Diễn tả 1 hđ đã bđ tại 1 điểm trong QK và kéo dài tới HT
VD: I have studied Eng for 8 years
 Diễn tả 1 hđ đã xra tại 1 thởi điểm ko cụ thể trong QK nhưng kết quả của nó ảnh hưởng tới HT
VD: She has lost hẻ phone so she can’t call u rn
 Mộ t hđ đã làm bao nhiêu lần tính đến thời điểm HT
VD: I have seen this film 3 times
This is the most boring film I have ever seen
2) Form

S+ have/has (+not) + VpII/Ved

3) Dấu hiệu nhận biết

 Recently, currently, lately…
 Since+ mốc thời gian, since+ Mệnh đề thì QKĐ
 For+ khoảng thời gian
 Untill now
 So far
 Có thể là yet, already, ever,…
B. Past Perfect tense (thì QKHT)
1) Cách dùng
 Diễn tả 1 hđ đã bắt đầu tại 1 thời điểm trong quá khứ và kết thúc tại 1 thời điểm sau đó cũng
trong QK
VD: I had studied Eng for 8 years untill yesterday
 Diễn tả 1 hđ xảy ra trong QK nhưng diễn ra trước 1 hành độ ng trong QK khác
VD: When she came home, her mom had left
I had taken a shower before I went to bed
 Diễn tả 1 hđ đã từng làm bao nhiêu lần tính đến thời điểm trong QK
VD: I had seen that film 3 times untill yesterday
2) Form

S+ had (+not) + VpII/Ved

C. Future Continuous tense (thì TLTD)
1) Cách dùng
 Dùng để nói về 1 hành động đang diễn ra tại một thời điểm xác định trong tương lai
VD: We will be climbing on the mountain at this time next Saturday
 Diễn tả một hành động, một sự việc đang xảy ra thì một hành động, sự việc khác xen vào trong
tương lai
VD: He  will be waiting  for her when her plane arrives tonight
 Diễn tả hành động sẽ diễn ra và kéo dài liên tục suốt một khoảng thời gian ở tương lai
VD: My parents are going to London, so I  will be staying  with my grandma for the next
2 weeks.
 Diễn tả hành động sẽ xảy ta như một phần trong kế hoạch hoặc một phần trong thời gian biểu
VD: Next Monday, you will be working in your new job
2) Form

S+ will be (+not) + Ving

3) Dấu hiệu nhận biết

Có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong tương lai kèm theo thời điểm xác định:

 At this time/ at this moment + thời gian trong tương lai: Vào thời điểm này ….
 At + giờ cụ thể + thời gian trong tương lai: vào lúc …..
 At this time tomorrow
Ex: _We will be going out at this time. / Chúng tôi sẽ đi ra ngoài vào thời điểm này.

_At this time tomorrow I will be going shopping in Singapore. (Vào thời điểm này ngày mai,
tôi sẽ đang đi mua sắm ở Singapore.)

_At 10 a.m tomorrow my mother will be cooking lunch. (Vào 10h sáng ngày mai mẹ tôi sẽ
đang nấu bữa trưa.)
