Final Notebook

I really enjoyed writing the weekly notebooks. They helped me focus on becoming a

better writer and improving my writing skills. One notebook activity that made me think

differently about my social issue was Notebook 2e. This notebook asked me to make two lists

based on what I know and what I don’t know about my issue. I made the two different lists, and

then later did more research on what I didn’t know about my topic. By doing the research, I

learned more about my topic and improved my projects.

The notebooks that were the most interesting to me were ones that asked me to share my

experiences with my issue. I liked writing about my story and spreading awareness about the

issue. I often think writing is a really good outlet to get things off of your mind, so I appreciated

the prompts where I could express myself.

My favorite type of notebook entries are the ones where I get to do more research on my

topic. I really liked Notebook 2e and 5i, these two required me to do more research. Therefore I

gained more knowledge about my issue. It was really important to me to learn as much about

teen dieting as possible, so these notebooks were perfect for that.

One of the notebooks asked me to write a letter to someone who had different views on

my social issue than me. I’m not a very good confrontational person so this notebook prompt

wasn’t for me. If I had a problem with someone and I needed to speak to them about the issue, I

think a letter would be another great option, but not necessarily for this project.
By doing the weekly notebooks I have gained a lot of new skills. Some of these skills are,

learning about how to create an organized website, to be productive and not slack off until the

last minute, and how to write a proper sentence.
