When Cthulhu was no more men

said unto Nyarlathotep: "Be Thou

our prophet, and be as wise as
Cthulhu."

And Nyarlathotep said: "I am as

wise as Cthulhu." And men were
very glad.

And Nyarlathotep said of Life

and Death: "These be the affairs
of Nyarlathotep." Ane men
brought gifts to him.

One day Nyarlathotep wrote in a

book: "Alhazred knoweth All
Things, for he hath spoken with
Nyarlathotep."

And Nyarlathotep stepped from

behind him, making the Seal/Sign
of Nyarlathotep, saying:
"Knowest thou All Things, then,
Alhazred?" And Alhazred became
among the Things that Were.
