Recruitment:

Recruitment simply means the act of 'registering new people'. This can apply to anything, work,
church or army.

With regard to recruitment, the type of employment has always existed, but recruitment methods
have changed significantly over the years.

Internal recruiting;

This is where the business or organization aims to fill the gap in the people present.

Benefits:

• It is cheaper and faster to hire staff internally than it is on the outside as it includes staff you
already have.

• Internal employment promotes honesty and can improve employees' morale as it serves as a
reward for existing employees.

• Also, save time and money on training as the internal applicant will have more information
about the organization and culture;

It also contributes to reducing employee income.

• Aligning candidates for internal elections with roles that are relevant to personality and skills
means that they stay longer in the company and increase staff retention.

External recruitment;

 On the other hand this is where the organization is looking to fill the vacancies
of applicants outside the company.

Benefits:

• Having an outsider brings new ideas and new ways of doing things.
• This can disrupt the business.

• You can add a wide net to find the right employees with the most appropriate skills.

• Relying solely on internal employment means that you do not miss out on hiring people with
new skills and ideas;

So with external recruitment you can increase your chances of

hiring experienced and qualified nominees.

Conclusion:

 There really are benefits to both internal and external employment, but at the end of the
day it's up to you.
 Some businesses will find different employment strategies that work, so it's a good idea
to try different routes before deciding to put all your eggs in one basket.
