What is the difference between manner of articulation and place of articulation? Please mention
the possible sounds produced by alveolar and glottis.

Answer:

Place of articulation

The place of articulation refers to that area in one of the resonating cavities where the articulation
is opposing some kind of stricture or obstacles to the passing area.

Manner of articulation:

The manners of articulation refer to the way the articulation are sets so that resonance effect is
possible.

Sounds produced by alveolar

The consonant sound /t/, /n/ and /d/ are all alveolar consonants.

Sounds produced by glottis

The glottis is the opening between the vocal fold .the glottises is crucial in producing vowels and
voiced consonant.
