PROJECT READY - INDUSTRIAL PARK

JACKSON COUNTY AVIATION TECHNOLOGY PARK

MOSS POINT, MS 39563 • JACKSON COUNTY
Jackson County Aviation Technology Park is strategically located in the heart of the county, located within and surrounding Trent Lott
International Airport (KPQL). The park is under a wetlands master plan approved by the US Army Corp of Engineers which allows
aviation and aerospace related projects to obtain federal permits in 30 to 45 days.

Trent Lott International Airport’s (KPQL) current classification is a C-III, Precision, Large Aircraft airport equipped with an Air Traffic
Control Tower open 365 days a year, an Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility (ARFF) manned 24/7, and AWOS maintained by the National
Weather Service. Runway (RW) 17 precision approach is equipped with an ILS, glideslope, and localizer maintained by FAA and medium
intensity approach lighting system. RW 17/35 is currently 6,500 linear feet rated at 65,000 lbs. dual gear, and the airport is in the process
of securing funds to strengthen and widen the RW. The Terminal, ATC Tower, Fuel Farm (Jet A and AVGAS), ARFF, and Airfield Lighting
have generator back up power in the event of inclement weather. It is notable to mention is the airport was operating hours after Hurricane
Katrina with minimum damage. KPQL field elevation is 17 feet above sea level, and is significantly removed from coastal storm surge or
flooding.

The Park was designed to accommodate companies with projects ranging from manufacturing, assembly, aircraft component testing and
aviation training activities. The Park is located at the center of one of the most advanced aerospace corridors, located along U.S. Interstate
10 and stretching from Louisianna through Mississippi and Florida. This corridor provides access to a trained workforce, accessible supply
chain and cutting edge research and technology. Northrop Grumman Aerospace’s Unmanned Systems Center is located in the park, where
they manufacture the Global Hawk, Fire Scout and Triton unmanned aircraft. Additionally, Jackson County has an attractive quality of life,
is located within a few miles of two major metropolitan areas and is 35 miles from the new Airbus final assembly facility in Mobile, AL.
