Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope all is well with you. This is a short note to express our sincere thanks to
you for sharing your experience of Active Schools Week with us via the
pictures/videos that you have sent in so far. As some of you will know from
your former days of being a pupil in Scoil Bhríde, we have always valued
physical activity as an integral part of school life.
Proper nutrition, physical activity and sufficient sleep all contribute in allowing
your daughter fully participate in the school day with ease and enjoyment.
Sincere thanks to Paul O’Brien (OB Personal Training), Jean Kennedy (past
pupil, world champion Irish dancer with a black belt in Karate) and Mountrath
Kettlebells for setting us some tough challenges and keeping us moving!
Thanks to our teachers Ms. Brereton and Ms.Sheppard for being such good
sports in sharing their fitness challenge with us. A word of thanks also to the
senior girls and Ms. Whelan for designing the active board games for the whole
