Enhancement Plan (QEP).
• The goal of CADENCE is to promote student success through holistic advising, including the integration of
educational and career goals.

• CADENCE stands for keys components of student success supported by holistic advising:
Connect → Assess → Develop → Engage → Navigate → Create → Excel.

• CADENCE was developed in a campus-wide process from 2018 to 2021, will be reviewed by the SACSCOC
On-site Committee in March, and is scheduled to begin in the 2021–2022 academic year.

CADENCE Initiatives

Coordinated CADENCE institutionalizes and expands the University’s advising Coordinated

Care Care Network by providing an ongoing leadership structure, professional
development, and technical training and support.

Advising CADENCE provides for the collection review, and publication of advising
Resources resources in a single online location. New resources include matriculation maps
identifying engagement and career development opportunities and milestones.

Technology CADENCE promotes and integrates the use of EAB Navigate for advising, Tiger
Print for educational planning and engagement, and Handshake for career
development.

What does CADENCE mean for me?

For faculty and staff, CADENCE supports, For students, CADENCE improves access to the
