Intern- Process Control Systems Engineer

Job Description

We’re currently seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as interns in our Global
Rolled Products (GRP) group. An internship with GRP allows students to be a part of dynamic and
innovative projects, while providing ample mentoring and professional development opportunities. This
opening is located at Arconic’s Tennessee Operations, one of the most modern aluminum fabricating
facilities in the world. Our plants produce high-quality molten metal and aluminum sheet and are
recognized as a world leader in the business. The facility has been located at the Foothills of the Great
Smoky Mountains for 100 years and continues to thrive and grow.

Working alongside leadership, Tennessee Operations’ interns have the opportunity to sharpen their skills
through hands-on learning. An internship with Tennessee Operations will provide you with invaluable
experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is Arconic’s goal to evaluate its interns for potential
entry-level openings. With over 60 locations across the US, there are opportunities to work in a variety of
places around the country.

A Process Control Systems (PCS) Engineer role will work on plant floor with other like PCS employees.
Interns will work on projects, and other day to day aspects of the finance function at our facility.

Basic Qualifications:

o 3.0 GPA and above

o Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
o Prior work experience.
o Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited college or
university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline with an expected
graduation date of August 2021, December 2021, or April/May/June 2022
o Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment
eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
