limitations?
 It means that some medical practices need to be done even if it is contradicting ethics.

2) What are the speaker’s arguments about the following topics?

Euthanasia
 To sum it up, euthanasia is just a good death or gentle and easy death for the people
who are geriatric, and euthanasia has a 4 type which are voluntary, involuntary,
active, or direct and lastly, passive.
Abortion
 The main argument in this topic that I personally understand when Ma’am Marcos
explain is that when we say God, we can say that the abortion is a major no, but in
practically speaking abortion can be good in some different ways.
Contraceptives
 It is the same with the abortion. When we say religion or God it is bad but in reality,
we can say that we should normalize the use of contraceptives to prevent health
problems, and unnecessary pregnancies.

3) What examples did she use as supporting ideas to her arguments?

 In Voluntary Euthanasia, Ma’am gave an example of Pills that the doctor gives to the
patient to finish his/her life or we can call assisted suicide.
 Involuntary voluntary Euthanasia, she discussed that it is a type of medical practice
who are the relative or family members are the one who decide if they will finish the
life of the patient or continue with the medication.
 In active or direct, we tackled, or she gave an example regarding a Pregnant patient
who will decide immediately.
 Lastly, in passive Euthanasia, she uses the palliative care.
 In abortion she discussed about Margaret Olivia Little and Sidney Callahan

4) Do you have any ideas contrary to the ones presented arguments of the speaker? Are all
her claims compelling and acceptable? Explain your answer.
 For me, her claims and arguments are acceptable and compelling because she
explains the topic concise, and she did not give any word or phrases that will give the
student a violent reaction. Furthermore, we have different opinions and insights
regarding this type of topic.
