Gratitude Write Up

Your Name: Nic Lettera Date: 4/12/21

1. At the close of keeping a gratitude journal on D2L, what have you learned?
a. I think that keeping a gratitude journal helped me learn that there is always
something positive to take out of my day, even if I feel that I had a bad day. It helped
me to feel better overall, even if I had already felt pretty good that day.

2. How does it feel to you when you look back over what you have written/posted?
a. It felt good to me to read over what I had posted, and it definitely helped me to be
more positive reading about all the things I was grateful for during the week.

3. Have you noticed any common themes after reviewing your gratitude posts? Please
describe….
a. Most common for me was definitely seeing a relation to my friends or quality time
that I had spent that week/day. I think my friends are really important to me, and
interactions with them are something that I really cherish and try to make a priority
out of.

4. What have you learned from reviewing and responding to other’s posts?
a. Reading and commenting on other people’s posts has taught me to become better and
being happy for the happiness of others. Getting better at this I think has also made
me feel better in general, because it is another source of happiness for me to draw on.
I think feeling good about the accomplishments or good days of my friends and
classmates had allowed me to be happier with myself in turn.
