SUMMARY:
The basic purpose to write this report is to identify and find out the importance of business ethics
in KIA motors. At first we can se the importance of business ethics and the organizations and
then we will compare those factors with the KIA Motors. In the report we can identify some of
the factors of business ethics that the Kia motors are applying in their business to get success and
how they are focusing on the importance of business ethics in their company which is launched
recently few years ago.
INTRODUCTION:
My topic of report is the Importance of business ethics in KIA motors. KIA motors is working
well in Pakistan and it is new launched company in the automobile industry. Kia Corporation,
commonly known as Kia, formerly known as Kia Motors Corporation, and stylized as ΚΙΛ, this
company is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer. Kia has a long history of
making cars, but actually they started making bicycles back in 1944, For over 75 years, they
have been putting people on the move, they have proudly delivered solutions that help people
move from one location to another, connecting them with each other, and bridging physical and
emotional distances between them.
As you can see, movement has always been at the heart of their brand, and moving people at the
core of their business, and it will remain like this in the future, regardless of all the changes
taking place in their industry.

Aims & objectives:

As we know that it is South Korea's second largest automobile industry as they are following the
business ethics so my aim is to find out whether the KIA motors Pakistan is obliging the
importance of business ethics in their industry in Pakistan or not.

METHOD OF COLLECTING INFORMATION:

For the collection of the data for the report to find the importance of business ethics in KIA
motors, I have searched the internet and their main website to known about their company, I
have also tried to make a visit in any of the showroom to talk to their manager and other
employees but due to the covid-19 I did not able to visit the showroom so I have collected all the
data from internet.

DISCUSSION:
At first we will take a look on the importance of Business ethics in any organization. Basically
the Business ethics refers to the standards for morally right and wrong conduct in business.
Business ethics enhances the law by outlining acceptable behaviors beyond government control.
Business ethics can be defined as the principles and standards that determine accept- able
conduct in business organizations. In my view, ethics is very important in business because it
builds trust and confidence in business relationships. Business ethics is essential for the company
and its success.
Corporations establish business ethics to promote integrity among their employees and gain trust
from key stakeholders, such as investors and consumers. While corporate ethics programs have
become common, the quality varies. There are three main reasons why business ethics is
important for an organization so the reasons are written below:

(1) Business ethics is an essential skill:

Almost every company now has a business ethics program. In part, that’s because technology
and digital communication have made it easier to identify and publicize ethical missteps. To
avoid the negative implications, companies are devoting more resources to business ethics. Now
if we talk about the KIA Motors Pakistan they are following business ethics as an essential skill
by use the latest technology in Pakistan in their manufacturing plant and they are bringing
innovation in Pakistan by launching new features in their cars in Pakistan. They have also
focused on the digital communication by providing the ads on social media and on TV.

(2) Business ethics drives employee behavior:

According to the 2018 Global Business Ethics survey, employees are more likely to apply ethical
reasoning when their company clearly demonstrates why business ethics is important and it helps
the company to success in market. As KIA Motors are focusing on the business ethics so I can
analysis that their employees are working well for the company and they are growing very fast in
the automobile industry.

(3) Business ethics benefits the bottom line:

Another reason why business ethics is important is that it can improve profitability, A well-
implemented ethics program can also reduce losses. Companies that practice questionable ethics
may also experience a decrease in stock price and severed business partnerships, which can
affect profitability. In addition, business ethics is linked to customer loyalty. If we talk about the
KIA motors so as they are growing so well that they are gaining the loyalty from their customers
and by this, they are making well profit for their company as they are on 3rd in selling most cars
in automobile industry as they surpass the HONDA atlas company by selling more cars then
Honda.
KIA Motors promotes ethical management activities to align its practices and cost structure with
ethical standards in order to pay due respect to stakeholders and improve our long-term
competitiveness.
 There are some rules or principles of business ethics. We will compare those principles with
the KIA motors Pakistan to analyze more about the importance of business ethics in KIA
motors.
(1) Honesty and Integrity: If we talk about the honesty and integrity of KIA motors so we can see
and analyze by the reviews of people and by the surveys that this company is delivering well for
their customer and they are honest with their products and with their customers and they are full
filling the promises of what they demand from them.
(2) Loyalty and Fairness: As we have seen the above that the KIA motors are focusing on the
importance of business ethics so they are fair with the customers in every means (for example
pricing of cars) and they are also loyal with their customers that’s why they are in the market
since 1944.
(3) Concern for Others: The KIA Motors have concern for their customers as they are launching
new cars for their customers and they are providing more benefits for the people (for example
providing test drive at launch of new cars).
(4) Law Abiding: As the KIA motors are working since so long in other countries and They just
came in Pakistan few years back and while they are starting their business they are already
focused on business ethics so they follow all the laws of Pakistan automobile industry.

CONCLUSION:
In the conclusion we can say that for the success of every business we need to be focused on the
importance of business ethics to grow faster in their business/ industry. KIA motors have made a
big impact on the peoples of Pakistan by providing the great quality and by full filling the needs
and demands of the customer but we can also analyses that by the above factors that are mention
in the report that the KIA motors are following the Business ethics in their business and the
importance of business ethics in KIA motors is that they are growing so fast in Pakistan now and
their customers are totally satisfied with them.so by the importance of business ethics in their
business they are now at No 3 in selling cars after Suzuki and Toyota. They have surpassed the
well-known brand which is Honda.so at the end we conclude that the business ethics is important
for every business and the KIA motors is gaining success day by day by recognizing the
Importance of Business ethics in their business.

RECOMMANDATIONS:
 As the KIA motors already working well after their launch in Pakistan but I recommend that
if they follow and obey they business ethics policy and rules in their organization so then
they can be no 1 in Pakistan of car selling Brand, and they never fail in their business their
success will be continued for so many more years.
