WRITING GUIDELINES
You are required to write two (2) sections of short essays below in English. Your answers will be used
to evaluate your case analysis and your reasons for applying this program. The Admissions
Committee considers your essay responses to be extremely important in the selection process.
Before writing essay, please write your full name and registration number on top of your essay.

SECTION 1: Business Case Analysis

1. Write for a 500-800 words (max 2 pages A4, font Arial with size 11) essay based on the business
case attached.
2. The critical analysis of your essay shall make use information and facts provided in the case which
can be combined with any concept/theory that you think relevant. The analysis shall answer these
questions:
a. What is the problem faced by the decision maker(s) in the case?
b. What is your proposed solution/decision if you were the decision maker(s)? Explain and
elaborate your solution/decision.

SECTION 2: Self-Evaluation and Educational Objectives

Answer below questions with max 500 words (max 1 page, font Arial with size 11):

1. Describe your motivation joining this MBA degree and how this program will help you to achieve
your career goals. Please also outline your study commitment if you are accepted for this program.
2. Describe your leadership experience that you think has given significant impact to your personal
or professional development.

Not submitting your essay by the stated deadline, we consider you as withdrawing the application.
You shall do it individually and independently. We take plagiarism seriously; we cannot accept if the
similarities test result is above 30% (we use internet-based plagiarism detection service called
Turnitin). Plagiarism or any other misconduct will result in failure of your test and you will no
longer be able to re-take the tests. Drop your essays in PDF/ Word (but not the scanned version)
on Tuesday (30/03/2021) at 2 PM at the latest.

HOW TO SUBMIT:
1. Business Case Analysis.
2. Self-Evaluation and Educational Objectives.
3. Curriculum Vitae (Please include your full employment history, awards and professional
distinctions, and extra-curricular activities).

IMPORTANT NOTE
1. Please make sure that you have met the requirements (i.e working experience) for the
program that you will enroll.
2. We will invite you for an online interview test starting on Saturday, 3 April 2021 if your essay
passes our academic standard. To support your interview performance, please make sure
that you have strong internet connection and appropriate device to run the online platform
chosen.
3. Before we announce the result, you are required to fill online form in this link:
https://teskepribadian.id/app/sbm. The aim of this assessment is for screening your learning
style and personality. You will need at least 35 – 45 minutes to answer all of the questions
before 10 April 2021.
4. We will announce the result in end of April 2021.
5. You will still need to do TPA and TOEFL tests as prerequisite to later graduate the MBA
program if you are accepted as our student.

REMARKS
The Admissions committee reserves the right to take any action upon your test if we have identified
the act of dishonesty and/or it does not meet our criteria above.
