Advertising objective: When exposed to our advertising campaign, Ashley will be reminded of
how dogs can have personality and feel like family, despite the fact that they are animals. This
will make her think of the dogs she grew up with and how she misses them, but also how much
she loves the dogs she has now. She wishes she had a better way to remember her old pets so
makes sure to have lots of photos of her little dog family.
Target Audience: Ashley is an anesthesiologist at a hospital in Indianapolis, where she lives
with her husband, who is an otolaryngologist in Indianapolis. They met while attending St.
George's School of Medicine and got married 6 months ago. Ashley loves dogs and together, her
husband and her own, an Australian Shepard named Zoe, and a black labrador retriever named
Gus. Ashley feels that she is not ready to have children yet, but feels like dogs are easier to take
care of but still add to their little family. She enjoys taking her dogs on walks and drinking coffee
with her husband on Sundays. While she is at work, she often misses the company of her dogs.
Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, decorating their new house and watching “Downton
Abbey.”
