In this module for my students i think are very confusing because in LMS
discussion are too confusing for the other friends, me too.

So , in this part i will try to explain the matery .


DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
Person & Animal, Things & Places
 The definition of descriptive text is A text that describes a particular
object dealing with person and animals.
 Social Function
a. To give information about a particular entity by describing its
features, history, and special characteristics.
b. To give information about things by describing physical attributes,
behaviors, uses, etc.
 General structure
a. Identification or general statements. It introduces or identifies specific object (a
person and animal).
b. Descriptions: The parts of a text describe the object characteristics, appeareances,
personality, habits or qualities (Derewianka, 2004; Buttet.al., 2000; Gerot & Wignell,
1994; Knapp and Watkins, 2005, p.149; Emilia & Christie, 2013)

 DEFINITION
The definition is A text that describes the parts of something in general that
consists of General Statement, Identification, and Description
 SOCIAL FUNCTION

 Language Features
Present tense , specific topic, linking verb, action verb, adjective, and Mental
Verb

Historical And Comparative

 The Definition is A text that compares somethingin general.


 Social Function
 So my conclusion in this Modul use HOTS and each item also LOTS , we
must find out to ourseleves what the definition, what the differences, what
the generic structure with the video or question. But when we applied
HOTS in our students we must know they capabilities to understanding the
matery , if we impose themselves they are not understand what we deliver
