The Personality Color Indicator (PCI) identifies predominant personality traits

specifically pertaining to your preference for gathering information and making

decisions. It will classify the different personality types into four colors: Red,
Orange, Yellow, and Green. The results will offer insight into why you think the
way you do and act the way you do and help you better understand yourself. An
added benefit is, it will help you better understand other people and interact with
them more effectively.

Instructions: There are 4 sets of statements divided into two sections (front and back of page).
You will have to choose between Statements A OR Statements B on the front of the page, and
between Statements C OR Statements D on the back of the page. In each section, decide which
of the two sets of statements best describes you or feels most right to you. Remember, we all
have a little of each color in us, so just choose the two sets (one from the front and one from the
back) that you feel comfortable with most of the time.

Section 1

Are you an A?

I consider myself to be down-to-earth.

I am practical and methodical.
I would rather work with facts and figures than theories and ideas.
I prefer to deal with the known than speculate on possibilities.
I want work-tasks and time expectations clearly defined before I begin a project.

OR

Are you a B?

I pride myself on using my mind and value my imagination.

I prefer being original rather than traditional.
I tend to answer questions with a question to gather more information.
I thrive on variety and dislike repetition.
I would rather create with my mind than produce with my hands.

I would rather deal with task problems than people problems.

I rarely seek advice from others before I make a decision.
I make decisions based on logic rather than emotions.
I choose to be direct rather than tactful.
I am more interested in solving problems than dwelling on them.

Are you a D?

I will suppress my own feelings rather than hurt the feelings of others.
I am much more accepting than judgmental of others.
I show my feelings and emotions easily.
I am a peacemaker not an aggressor.
It is important to me to promote good feelings and harmony at all times.

Scoring key: Your personality color is a combination of the answer on the front of the page (A
or B) AND the answer from the back of the page (C or D).
