Idea Five - Autumn

“The More You Know The Less You Need”
Colors: Black, Dark Grey, Acidwash Grey, Dark Blue
Front: “The More You Know The Less You Need” written in the center of the shirt circularly
with San hunting images surrounding and basic materials San used for hunting.
Back: “Here, we come to the land of the ancestors, where we allow our past to shape the future”
or “We are the ones we have been waiting for”( stanza from a poem by South African Poet, June
Jordan)

Idea Six - Autumn

“To The Ancestors”
Colors: Mahogany, Emerald green, Royal purple, Black
Front: Imagery of ancestor guiding modern-day person in nature in the center. At the bottom,
“Listen to the San and let the Ancestors guide you.”

Idea Seven - Autumn:

“We Are the First”

Colors: Greywash, Black, White
Front: Big quotation “WE ARE THE FIRST” with an outline of San people images at the
bottom. The images will circle around the entire bottom of the shirt.
Back: Quote with the length to fit two lines quote from San people. The images will be shade in.

“This Shirt Makes History”

Colors: Brown with creme writing, Highlighter yellow with black writing
Front: Big quotation “THIS SHIRT MAKES HISTORY.”
Back: “Preservation and Conservation” or “I donated to conserving history” in bold “Heritage
Centre Museum Khwattu” at the bottom
