Hi Sir,

Subject : Improper distribution of water by Co workers of IPH department Arki Shalaghat near steel
industries

As said water is very needy and important to sustain life, and we have to conserve it by all means.

But in our local town workers are distributing water without knowing any actual need. As informed
them that people are tempering with water pipelines and IPH department Arki are not taking any
required action.

Even though whenever they (IPH workers) feel they come and also temper the pipelines without
informing the actual owner to whom they have given water supply. When asking about any work
order or given instructions to touch private pipelines by IPH department they simply deny and tell us
that they have lot of work and don’t want to waste any time on these things. But the fact is how can
anyone trespass or can hold the things which is private property, they should inform the owner and
need to work if required in front of owner for transparency reasons.

Many landlords who have given apartment or rooms on rent they should be allotted commercial
water meters but till date no landlords have been issued commercial water meters. Then how can
we be assured that water is properly distributed.

As these days water resources condition is very critical and we all should understand the
importance. Sometimes (IPH workers) treat us that we are not aware of our rights and they can
blindfold us from very critical condition.

It’s requested to investigate the issue and make IPH workers aware not to understand this as private
job also guide landlords to have commercial meters so that others can get water supply.

I hope we will get appropriate response and soon our issues will be sorted.
