Editorial
This volume consists of selected papers from 23rd Canadian Conference on Computational Geometry (CCCG), held in
Toronto, Canada, August 10–12, 2011.
The papers selected for this special issue range from applications of computational geometry, through new algorithmic
results, to more foundational papers in discrete geometry. Most of the selected papers have one or more co-authors who
are students or otherwise at an early stage of their research careers. Both of these facts reflect the welcoming traditions of
CCCG.
The editors would like to take this opportunity to thank the authors for agreeing to submit their work to this special
issue, the program committee of CCCG 2011 for their help in selecting papers, and particularly the referees for their careful
review and thoughtful suggestions.
