Document Purpose
This checklist is a brief document listing the items to be noted, checked, remembered, and delivered
when completing the accompanying template for logical data models.

Activities Checklist
Logical Data Model Checklist (One Time Activities)
Have business data requirements been completely captured in the model?
Have data modeling standards including naming standards been followed?
Are business (logical) names and business definitions for entities and attributes clear, practical,
and consistent?
Has the model been normalized to the stated level?
Does the model contain enough detail to support development and of the physical data model?
Has the logical data model been baselined?
Have documented controls been baselined?
Does the logical model align with the OpDiv’s conceptual data model?
