Right now my body is feeling quite tense as I am writing this and I am having anxiety over my

philosophy homework causing my spine and shoulders to stay kinda locked. Now lets try the
STOP and see if it can help.

S stands for Stop or come to stillness

T stands for take a breath

O stands for observe

P stands for proceed

I often too can find myself planning for the worst case possible.

Paying attention to the present moment was hard when and I noticed when my mind shifted I
would almost start holding my breath. Redirecting myself to focus on my breath was helpful. To
observe myself and my thoughts isn’t something I usually do unless I am pacing around in a
nervous way. I did this sitting down with little judgment towards myself about the pains I feel
emotionally. But I was able to find a good rhythm towards the end of the video as I got
comfortable.

After this practice I walked the trails by my moms home in Saint George and I really enjoyed
the views more than usual.
