Dear Sir/Madam:

This concerns the procedures for prefiling with the Legal Service of ERC.

Please be informed that Legal Service (LS) is already conducting prefiling

electronically. As a matter of procedure, please complete the technical filing first
before requesting for legal prefiling. As such, LS will require a certification from the
ERC Technical Service (ROS/MOS, whichever is concerned) confirming that the
technical prefiling has been completed.

Electronic Prefilings by LS will only be accepted and processed from Tuesdays

to Thursdays. Please submit your (1) documents for prefiling compressed and stored
into a Zip file and (2) the ROS/MOS certification or duly accomplished checklist signed
by the ERC technical staff, as attachments to your email request. Kindly indicate also
the name and email address of your representative authorized to conduct prefiling
with ERC.

Without the attached certification or duly accomplished checklist, LS will

automatically endorse your documents for technical prefiling. In the event that only
the certification or duly accomplished checklist is attached, LS will return your request
and require the submission of all the necessary documents. Please send your request
for legal prefiling to the following dedicated LS prefiling
email: legal.prefiling.erc.gov.ph@gmail.com.

Following the completion of the prefiling, a Statement of Account will be

prepared and sent back to your authorized representative with instructions on how to
pay the docket fees. Once you have paid the docket fees, please submit to LS your
proof of payment together with a covering letter requesting LS to transmit your
prefiled documents to our Office of General Counsel for purposes of filing the
application and docketing.
