Affirmative sentences:
I am seeing some friends tonight.
He/she/it is seeing some friends tonight.
We/you/they are seeing some friends tonight. 
Negative sentences:
I am not leaving until Friday.
He/she/it is not leaving until Friday.
We/you/they are not leaving until Friday.
Questions:
Am I doing anything this evening?
Is he/she/it  doing anything this evening?
Are we/you/they doing anything this evening?
Use

You can use the Present 
Continuous for future 
arrangements which we have 
planned for a fixed time or 
place.
The Present Continuous is specially 
common with the expressions: 
tonight, tomorrow, this 
weekend, etc and with the verbs 
go, come, meet, see, leave and 
arrive.
E.g.We´re having dinner at their house tomorrow.
Don´t use the Present Simple for 
this.

Don´t say:

E.g. I see some friends tonight.
