About College:
The RISE KRISHNA SAI PRAKASAM GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS (An integrated campus) established
in the year 2009 under the society RISE, which stands for Rural Institute of Social and Economic Empowerment,
to offer unparalleled Engineering, Management and Computer Education. The most competent, dedicated and
technical human resources in the campus sharpen students and their skills. They thereby, shall be sure to make
the greatest possible strides both in their career and life.

About Department:

The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 students.
Our under graduate program educates the students to go for in depth study of manufacturing, thermal, design
and other subjects which help them to serve the society in best possible manner where ever they go. The
department is enriched with highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty members. The department also
has a very unique distinction of hosting a student run society with the name of RISE YUVA. The department has
good infrastructure and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories such as strength of materials, fluid mechanics
and hydraulic machinery, manufacturing technology, heat transfer, thermal engineering, machine tools,
metrology & measurements, material science, cad/cam, engineering workshop lab.

Two day FDP program was conducted on NBA Accreditation from 3rd -4th March, 2019.

➢ B.Pavan Kalyan, Mechanical Student got 2nd Prize in National Level Technical Symposium at Prakasam Engg
College, Kandukur, A.P.

➢ V.Raghunadh Reddy, Mechanical Student is participated in Poster presentation, National Level Technical
Symposium, conducted by BVRIT, Hyd on 28th February,2019 and secured 1st prize in Poster presentation.

➢ V.Sumareddy, Mechanical Student is participated in Project expo, National Level Technical Symposium,
conducted by Bapatla Engg College, Baptla, A.P on 15th February,2019 and secured 2nd prize.

➢ Dontha Kumar, Mechanical Student is participated in Technical quiz in National Level Technical Symposium,
conducted KLU, Guntur, A.P on 11th February,2019 and secured 1st prize.

➢ Dronadula Madhu , participated in Technical debate VNR Vignan Jyothi College Of Engg , Hyd on 20 th
Dec,2018 and sucured 3rd Prize in.

➢ Teepu Baig, Mechanical Student participated in Poster presentation is conducted by MVJ college of Engg,
Bangalore, Karnataka, on 11th Dec,2018 in and secured 2nd Position.

➢ P.Venkatesh, L.Siva Mechanical Students are participated in Paper presentation, conducted by Rajyalakshmi
Engg College,Chennai, TN on 1st December 2018 in Paper presentation and secured 3rd Position.

➢ Palaparthy Chandu, Bathula Sreenu are participated in Technical quiz, conducted by Matrusri Engineering
College, Hyderabad, TN on 12th Oct,2018 secured 2nd Position.

➢ Students displayed prototypes in “GNANABHERI” conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh and they
presented the working of those proto types to the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

➢ Project Expo in RISE campus during technical fest 2K19, displaying the various working models and
prototypes made by the students

Industrial Visit:

❖ The students of second and third year have visited to the “SUDALAGUNTA SUGARS Ltd.”, Nellore, dt on 25th
Feb 2019 as a part of their curriculum. SUDALAGUNTA SUGARS is one of the oldest sugar plant. The tour
was co - ordinated by Mr.B.Chandramouli and K.S.J.Prakash with other faculty members.
❖ The students of second and third year visited to the “Krishna sai Granites.”, ongole, dt on 31st December
2018 as a part of their curriculum. Krishna sai Granites is one of the granite Quarry in prakasam District. The
tour was co - ordinated by Mr.K.Somaiah Chowdary and K.Rajesh Guptha with other faculty members.
