Lesson 1 Case Analysis

 Leah should first evaluate herself on what type of learning approach best applies to her.
 She will then apply the 3 stages in her learning as follows; (1) Planning, (2) Monitoring, and (3)
Evaluating/Reviewing.
 In every academic endeavor, she must prepare ahead not just what she will be learning but on
how she will learn it.
 She should be aware of her weaknesses and formulate strategies how to overcome it.
 She should practice having a growth mindset and apply self-questioning, annotation, concept
mapping, checklist and reciprocal teaching technique to strengthen her understanding.
 She should also devote more time on topics that she find difficult than those which she already
understood.
 She then needs to identify and correct her errors as part of evaluating herself.
 She must also take note that this process takes time; patience is a must all throughout the process.

Lesson 2 Vignette Analysis

 Martha has a good mindset than Carla because she has already put in mind the circumstances that
will or might happen in the future that is why she is saving for it already.
 She has a growth mindset that is why she manages and is willing to allocate 1,000 of her salary
for savings. (This is a big step)
 Unlike Carla who has a fixed mindset on spending, no savings and just planning to marry a
financially stable guy will be no good if it will not be achieved.
 It is not an excuse that you are single and have no kids that you will not engage in financial
management.
 I think as an adult it is important that you apply the right mindset and know how to manage your
finances because by doing so you will be given financial freedom where less to no financial stress
is experienced.

Lesson 3 Van Gogh

 The 3 main stressors of Vincent Van Gogh are his childhood trauma, his unfortunate relationships
and being misunderstood or criticized by a lot of people.
 What stressed the most out of him was being misunderstood and repeatedly criticized by a lot of
people during his lifetime just by being eccentric.
 I think it would be quite difficult to positively respond to the challenges during his time because
they failed to recognize the real deal on Vincent’s health condition and address his health needs.
 If I were him I would practice speaking up, ask support and help from loved ones, engage in
painting, music, exercise, eating well, appreciating myself and practicing meditation with nature.
