1. Our body increases its temperature when doing certain activities as a result os heat production
during metabolism. Sensors in the body send signal to the hypothalamus that body temperature
increases. Hypothalamus regulates body temperature by sweating to release heat out from the
body. As a result, we become thristy because water helps to reduce temperature in the body.
2. Yes, Because this causes the release of evem more exytocin and produces even stronger
contractions. This positive feedback loop continues until the baby is born. Normal childbirth is
driven by a positive feedback loop. A positive feedback results in a change in the body’s status,
rather than a return to homeostasis.
