Replacing fuel cartridges (ref. 15 05 063 OF)
bb Close isolation valves.
bb Remove filter cartridge with appropriate wrench.
bb Clean the seal seating.
bb Oil the seal on the new cartridge.
The engine guarantee is conditioned
on the exclusive use of S. I. Moteurs bb Screw cartridge in place by hand until contact with seal is
Baudouin OEM filters. made.
bb Tighten cartridge by ¾ turn maximum with an appropriate
wrench.

b Isolate the diesel valves, remove the filter cover (1), and
1 remove the filter cartridge.
b Clean the vat.
2 b Fit the new cartridge, fit the cover (1) back on to
the vat, carefully replacing the seals (2)
(ref. 77 72 884 1W).
Filter b Open the diesel valves and bleed the filter.

b Unscrew the nut above 17 (5).


b Remove the bowl (1).
2 Warning: If the nut (4) comes unscrewed with the bowl, the
nut should be removed and refitted to its holder during
reassembly.
b Remove the cartridge (2) and the seal (3).
4 b Clean inside the bowl and the holder.
b Fit a new cartridge and replace the seal (3) provided with
3 the cartridge.
b Refit the bowl and tighten to a torque of 20Nm, so that it is
not distorted.
