DISCUSSION: (group presentation)

 Do you think the people in your community realize that biodiversity and habitat loss is something
that we should be concerned about?

 Why is it that the average person shows relatively no interest in the plant and animal species
around them?

 What can we do to change people’s perceptions? How can we help to build awareness about the
importance of protecting species and habitats?

Instructions:

1 Make a presentation of how you, in your profession, will care for biodiversity issues and the
environment.

2 How can you convince people in the community that you are aware about the importance of
protecting biodiversity and that your work will address environmental issues to protect the world?

3 Use slides or make a video between 3-4 minutes showing that you are an environment-friendly
doctor.
