The story of in a grove, is not your common murder mystery.
The husband, the wife, and
the robber all admits to the murder, the witnesses and those who are involved throw out inconsistent information. It is a murder mystery that simply cannot be solved. While we are given information, we have no way of confirming any of the information to be the truth. It is slanted that way, at least from my perspective, because it tries to show that there can never be an absolute ‘truth.’ What we identify to be the truth is simply something that we perceive or gather from the information on hand. There really is no way for any one to be sure that what they consider to be true is actually true; while there could be information that proves an idea to be true, there will also be information that contradicts it. In the case of the story, who the murderer is relies on the reader, the reader needs to decide who the murderer is, and as it has been said, we may never know if the that is what is true.
