III. On the Learners’ Development

1. Share the best features of the student academic development program of your school this
school year 2020-2021 (during pandemic-new normal). What are your best practices in the
learners’ development area?
The teachers conducted lessons and monitor the performance of the learners through virtual
discussion via Third-Party Application. Recorded videos/ audios were sent to the learners for
additional learning materials. Home visitation and virtual communication is done to
communicate with the learners and the parents to check the learners learning status and to give
updates and feedbacks on the learners’ performance. With a reliable internet connection, teachers
can communicate to the learners without interruption. Enhancement activities were also given in
different learning areas.

2. Share the best features of the faculty development program of your school this school year
2020-2021 (during pandemic-new normal) – best practices.
The teachers attended virtual In-Service Training (INSET), seminar on Bamboo Propagation,
JHS Administrators Workshop, and World Teachers’ Day Celebration.
3. Evaluate the use of Quipper this school year:

3.1 Describe the advantages and disadvantages of Quipper from the part of students.
Quipper saves both time and money because you don’t need to write the lessons anymore.
Quizzes can be repeated for mastery and it allows them to know their scores immediately.
However, some of the topics are difficult to understand and the answers to the questions are not
present in the study guide and you have to rely always to the internet connectivity.

3.2 Describe the advantages and disadvantages of using Quipper from the point of view of
teachers and administrators.
Quipper as being used as LMS allows us educators to consolidate administrative tasks into one
place. This system can alleviate the need for us to log in to multiple applications to review
student work, track performance, and report grades. Calculating scores and other routine tasks is
automated, freeing us to do more important work. It also provides us tools that offer data that
enables us to easily identify students who need more support in particular areas. It also engages
the parents in the learning process of the learners. However, one of the biggest drawbacks of
employing this system is that many aspects of coaching or cheating can happen.

4. Evaluate the use of modules without Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver
educational materials:

4.1 Describe the advantages and disadvantages of using modules (made and delivered by
teachers) from the point of view of students.
N/A

4.2 Describe the advantages and disadvantages of using modules (made and
delivered by teachers) from the point of view of the administrators and teachers.
N/A

IV. On the Learning Environment

1. List down the buildings, facilities, equipment and student services of your school that you are
proud of this school year 2020-2021.
The facility that we’re proud of this school year is the newly installed and improved internet
connection.

2. Suggest a facility, equipment and student service that should be given priority especially in
preparation for the re-certification (based on the CAI evaluation –previous re-certification).
The facilities that should be given priority are the school canteen, computer and science
laboratories, classrooms, school clinic, and library.

V. Operational Vitality

1. Share the best program or activity of your school in managing school funds this school year
2020-2021.
Centralization
2. Propose a program or activity to increase and maximize the financial resources of your school
for school year 2021-2022.
Alumni home coming, better and atrractive retirement benefit, and higher salary for teachers.

VI. Points to ponder:

1. We continue delivering educational services to our students and pupils using the blended
mode: online and modular
2. A Learning Management System (LMS) is still needed for the online delivery of learning
materials.
3. The contents (lessons and modules created by our teachers last School Year ) can be used
next schoolyear
4. In addition, we need E-Library.
5. It would be better for the students and teachers if all the students shall be using printed
modules in compiled in a book.
6. There will be a professional development program for teachers.
7. The parents will pay practically the same as last school year.
