Jafari, Aghaei and Khatony (2019) created a study in which they questioned the

possibility of a relationship between study habits and academic achievements in

students. Their study focused on the said habits and achievements of students in
Kermanshah, a city of Iran. A cross-sectional study was commenced with the use of the
participation of random medical students of Kermanshah University of Medical Science.
The students’ average grade and the presence and use of their study habits were given
as these were gathered with the Palsane and Sharma Study Habit Inventory (PSSHI).
The accumulation of said samples are studied and resulted to its given results of a
definite relation of the student’s study habits and his or her academic achievements.

The research of Ebele and Olofu (2017) was created to prove the relationship between
a student’s study habits and academic performances in biology as their focus. They
believed that a student’s academic performance and achievements is determined with
how a student handles his or her studies. A descriptive survey research design is used
with a questionnaire for data collecting from students in the Federal Capital Territory,
Abuja. Results are then made as students’ habits can indeed impact on students’
academic performance.

Fransisco and Barcelona (2020) decided to go beyond the four walls of the classroom.
A research that is made to find the effectiveness of an online classroom for flexible
learning. A face-to-face class is the ideal set-up but considering the many times that
made them cancel these classes for a few days or even a month. Reasons such as
natural disasters and other emergencies are inevitable. They focused on the platform
Eliademy as the online classroom of the selected students of La Consolacion University
of the Philippines. With a qualitative interview and their analysis came with promising
results as students agreed Eliademy as an alternate learning tool. They even managed
to offer tips and steps on using an online classroom and to present possible platforms
that can be used.

Arinto (2017) has acknowledged the significant changes in technology through time that
made us aware of its effects on people's lives and in her research, its effects on the use
of digital education. The new form of this type of education is known as “open and
distance e-learning” (ODeL). This research is used with the findings of a collective case
study based on the experiences of some university faculties through semi-structured
interviews. Arinto decided to focus more on the teaching perspective rather than
learning.
According to the research of Kamoru (2017), Influence of Self-Concept, Study Habit and
Gender on Attitude and Achievement of Secondary School Students in Mathematics,
there is a relationship between a student’s attitude towards mathematics and his or her
academic performance with it. In addition, it is also similar between study habits and
self-concept that is significant at 0.05 but such significance is not that looked upon to
regarding the relation in the difference of gender and their attitude towards the subject.
Overall, they considered that the secondary schools should provide the students the
possibility for them to be more inclined in the subject that’ll help with their self-concepts
and study habits.
