PROJECT TITLE: Home Visitation: Remediation & Enrichment Activity

(BE-LCP Implementation)

IMPLEMENTING PERIOD: APRIL 20-29, 2021 and May 25 - June 3, 2021

RATIONALE:

Amidst the public health emergency brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the
Department of Education (DepED) is committed to ensure unhampered delivery of basic
education services to its leaners and the community, in line with the constitutional mandate
of the State “ to establish, maintain and support a complete, adequate, and integrated
system of education relevant to the needs of the people, the country and society-at-large,”
pursuant to Section 2(1), Article XIV of the 1987 Constitution, as reiterated in Republic Act
(RA) No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013.

Remediation and Enrichment Activities through home visitation are some of the
strategies found in our school learning continuity plan and part of our middle readiness
assessment. To determine all available resources including the needed workforce based on
the number of learners and the households to be addressed (e.g. capacity to work with the
learners with disabilities and etc.)

Bobon National High School has conducted virtual reinforcement including remote
class (call, text and group chat) and request the Barangay SK Officials for the Brigada
Pagbas Program but all of those are not enough due to some other circumstances that need
to be considered and to be addressed.

OBJECTIVES:

To assist and provide better instructional support:

A. Leaners who cannot manage independent learning, including leaners with

disabilities and special needs
B. Learners who do not have a household member or any responsible adult
available to provide learning support.
C. Household with parents/guardians with full time jobs who may not be able to
mentor/guide child’s learning at home.
D. Student At Risk of Dropping Out due to the current situation or modalities.
