TYPES/KINDS OF COMMUNICATION The different types of communication are as follows : 1. Intrapersonal Communication. This is the process of thinking and feeling that goes on in the mind of an individual. This kind of communication helps a person to give shape to personal concepts, opinions, views, attitudes, etc. It helps a person to arrive at new ideas, solve problems and arrive at decisions. 2. This work is carried out by various departments such as advertising; public relations, sales and marketing, finance, production, planning, etc. Each employee has to play a dynamic role in communication. 7. Group Communication. This kind of communication takes place when meetings are held to discuss issues that affect the lives of many. Group discussions on a certain topic are a part of group communication. An open environment for discussion helps in open exchange of thoughts.
