It is terrific that you

mentioned the importance of using paper bags as a replacement to plastic, and among
others, in advocating to people to gradually reduce the consumption of solid wastes by
reusing and recycle those things that can still be useful.
However, given that proper segregation of waste are already implemented, there are
still instances that it is somehow not followed by some people, what kind of approaches
and ideas you have in your mind, that you would suggest to barangay Officials to make
this regulation much more effective and strengthened? Also, what possible ways you
can do to educate and encourage your community to follow and adhere themselves to
these practices?


o Some possible ways to encourage the community to follow these simple
practices is that to show them what are the benefits or how does doing the proper
segregation can make you surroundings much better. For instance is that if in your
household, you are doing the proper segregation then in here, your neighbors can see
the what differences it can make with their own surroundings like having a much better
air than before. 

