CAD course provided an overview of attributes and how they are applied. Many projects require numerous attributes to allow effective filtering, sorting and grouping while planning and scheduling. This chapter will demonstrate several ways to assign attributes to larger data sets quickly and effectively, 9.1, ASSIGN ATTRIBUTES FROM A POLYGON GRID Attributes can be assigned to a polygon grid and used to attribute entities. This allows the user to assign attributes such as northings and easting’s efficiently. Attributes can only be assigned from a polygon grid in Plan view. In this exercise users will be assigning the Stope Column attribute to all of the stoping shapes, T© To assign attributes from a polygon grid! 1, Isolate the ATTRIBUTE ASSIGNMENT\FROM POLYGON GRID layer and make the ATTRIBUTE ASSIGNMENT\FROM POLYGON GRID\GRID layer visible and active. 2. To obtain the approx. Base Coordinates forthe grid, toggle on MARTHL ancl draw a polyline from the southernmost stope out further out than the westernmost stope. Snap to the southernmost point of, the stope. Drag the polyline out so it's wider than the stope solids. 3, Select Draw | Regular Grid | Manually.
