• What does Ashley do for a living?


She is a senior at University of Northern Iowa where she studies general communication.

• How does her condition affect her daily activities and how does she deal with it?
His condition affects these activities in the way that it is difficult to enter the bathroom, he
cannot write so fast, he uses the elevators while his classmates use the stairs, when he goes
to class and it is winter it takes 25 minutes to get to the university and many more things,
she deals with them with a smile with determination, with courage and does not collapse.

• What is her attitude towards life? Does she feel disabled from certain activities?
Her attitude has a lot of courage, with a smile, with jokes and with happiness, she feels
capable of doing, she adapts to her disability to do certain activities.

• How would your life be different if you were handicapped and had to use a
wheelchair? What would be different for you? (Use mixed conditionals in the
answer).
if I had a disability, I would help people with the same disability
if I had a disability, I would do my best to do normal things
if I had a disability, I would like to make a group of disabled people to be able to tell the
stories that happened to us

• How do you react when you have to interact with a handicapped person?
I have no reaction; I just try to make it feel good and make it feel at home

• How can you contribute to improve the life of handicapped people?


As I said before, I would do a group of disabled people in which all people with this condition
can tell all their stories and how they feel.
