Guidelines for Material Identification and

Use (MI
1. Search for teaching materials related to teaching one of the pronunciation features
describe:
a. Sounds (vowels, consonants)
b. Stress (word and sentence stress)
c. Rhythm
d. Intonation
2. Present the material in class. Explain how the material relates to the concept we
discussed in this course and why it is effective.
3. Write a report. It should have the following structure:
a. Your late name and page number on the top right corner of the page.
b. Your details (name, teacher’s name, name of course, due date) in the following
line on the top left corner of the page.
c. Title
d. Subtitle (if there is one)
e. Works cited (if any)
4. The above report should follow an MLA Style.
5. Use the template provided for this purpose on Virtual ICPNA.
6. Hand in your report on the agreed date.
7. Be ready to explain the results of your findings to either the instructor or your classmate
or everybody.
